Membership in Club Cherokee is open to any pilot as well as anyone wanting to become a pilot, depending on membership openings available. We solicit new members throughout the year and you can join at any time.

Members join the club by buying a share of stock in the club (the club is a corporation) as an initial, one-time investment. The present share price is only $6750. That's less than the typical cost of a modest used sedan! A tremendous value for ownership in 6 wonderful airplanes!
If a member moves out of the area or otherwise decides they no longer want to fly with Club Cherokee, they can sell their membership. This makes a membership position open to a new member.
After purchase, a share's value may increase or decrease, based on market pressure and equity value. To ensure share value stability, Club Cherokee's Membership Officer controls sales of shares.
DuesMonthly dues are set by the Board of Directors to cover insurance and fixed costs. The current rate is set at $90 (plus tax) per month.
RatesRates paid by members for use of the planes are based on tachometer hours. This is a great advantage over most other flying clubs and FBO's who charge based on hobbs time. With the tachometer measurement, members are charged 15-20 percent less per chargeable hour than if the industry standard hobbs meter were used.
This charge method, coupled with the lower rates charged for the entry level aircraft, makes an extremely attractive value proposition for someone interested in obtaining their pilot's license. And once you have your license, you will benefit from the low rates on the higher performance aircraft in the fleet.
